In the heart of Kazakhstan, the Electrotsink plant, a symbol of industrial resilience and innovation, recently commemorated a significant milestone - 75 years of zinc production. This plant, now part of the Kaztsink division, has been a cornerstone of the zinc industry in Kazakhstan, and one of the largest producers in the CIS.

The journey of Electrotsink began on September 25, 1947, when the first electrolytic zinc was produced at the plant. Since then, several generations of workers have contributed to its growth and development, making it the flagship of the zinc industry in the country.

With the formation of Kaztsink, the Zinc Plant of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Metallurgical Complex embarked on a new chapter in its history. Today, Kaztsink is capable of producing up to 193,000 tons of zinc per year, a testament to its continuous pursuit of excellence.

Galymbek Shuinshin, the plant's director, emphasized the importance of the employees, stating that they are the main asset of the plant. He acknowledged the best workers during a ceremonial event, presenting them with commemorative souvenirs and certificates.

Over the past 75 years, the plant has produced a total of 13,686,126 tons of zinc, a remarkable achievement in the world of metallurgy. The plant continually studies new technologies and conducts research in various directions, ensuring its readiness to conquer new heights.

New technologies are being introduced at the plant, transforming its operations and making it more efficient. This commitment to innovation is what has kept Electrotsink at the forefront of the zinc industry, attracting foreign colleagues who now come to learn from the plant's practices.

The Electrotsink plant's historical details, such as exact evacuation dates and comprehensive contributions, are not extensively documented in publicly available sources. However, the region's key industrial infrastructure, such as the Ust-Kamenogorsk power station, has supported metallurgical industries, including zinc processing, since at least the mid-20th century.

Kazakhstan's energy sector is also evolving, with nuclear power development projects underway, indirectly supporting industrial plants' energy needs. These projects, led by China’s CNNC and Russia’s Rosatom, indicate a modernizing energy sector that potentially supports heavy industry, including zinc electrolysis plants.

As Kaztsink looks toward the future, it continues to strive for the best in its operations, maintaining its position as a leader in the zinc industry and a beacon of industrial excellence in Kazakhstan.

The Electrotsink plant, in its endeavor to improve efficiency, has adopted new technologies from the manufacturing industry, which have significantly transformed its operations.

In the ever-evolving world of finance, Kaztsink, with its consistent pursuit of excellence, continues to secure funding for research and technology integration, ensuring its growth and development in the zinc industry.
