Alexander Schwarz, the Director of YouGov's "Shopper Intelligence," suggests that this shift in preferences poses significant challenges to the coffee market. "Younger consumers are drinking less coffee altogether or prefer to consume it outside the home," he mentioned. In doing so, they purchase less coffee or opt for alternative caffeinated beverages.

It turns out, two-thirds of Gen-Z households have developed a penchant for energy drinks, ditched the French press for the can, essentially! Moreover, an increasing number of corporations are starting to offer free coffee for their employees, further denting the sales of our beloved caffeine companion.
