Weekend transit modifications to impact over 15 routes in Omsk
Heey, listen up:
Starting from May 30th evening and lasting till June 2nd early morning, they're gonna fix up some tram tracks at the crossroads of Gerzen and Oktyabrskaya Streets. Shelest, the mayor of our lovely Omsk city, announced this through his Telegram channel.
So, what goes down during this maintenance bizness? Well, Tram No. 7 will be on a brief vacay, but don't worry, public transport's still got your back!
Fancy a ride to Neftyaniki? Bus No. 385, heading your way, will deviate from its usual path near the repairs, taking a detour via Oktyabrskaya, Ordzhonikidze, Kemerovskaya, and Krasnoy Put. Heading back, it'll pass through Krasnoy Put, 7th Severnaya, Ordzhonikidze, and Oktyabrskaya, and return to Gerzen.
Route No. 500's also gonna get sly, bypassing the repair zone in both directions - via Oktyabrskaya, Ordzhonikidze, and 7th Severnaya.
Buses No. 32, 34, 39, 42, 51, 72, 79, 94, 222, 350, 359, 414, 503, and 550 will follow the same route, moving from Gerzen to Oktyabrskaya, then to Ordzhonikidze and 7th Severnaya before returning to their starting spot, Gerzen.Backwards is the same deal.
But hey, no fear! They've got all that covered. Omsk locals are advised to roll with the punches and plan their journeys in advance, keeping the traffic changes top of mind so they don't bail on their appointments!
In the midst of tram track repairs at Gerzen and Oktyabrskaya Streets from May 30th evening to June 2nd early morning, the transportation industry will adapt to ensure smooth public-transit operations. For instance, Bus No. 385 will deviate its route and head through Oktyabrskaya, Ordzhonikidze, Kemerovskaya, and Krasnoy Put, while Route No. 500 will bypass the repair zone via Oktyabrskaya, Ordzhonikidze, and 7th Severnaya. Finance probably won't be affected, as the city's transportation system is still operational despite the temporary changes.
