Wanted Iranian Man Arrested in Munich Over €30M Fraud
An internationally wanted Iranian national, a 50-year-old man, was arrested at Munich Airport on Tuesday, September 23. The suspect is accused of causing tens of millions of euros in damage through fraudulent investment transactions between June 2022 and August 2025. The extradition proceedings to Switzerland will be handled by the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office. Following his arrest, the suspect was promptly brought before a judge in Landshut. The man, a 50-year-old Iranian national, was arrested based on an international wanted notice from Swiss authorities.
