Volvo has introduced the refreshed version of the XC60 SUV in India, priced starting at 71.90 lakh Indian rupees.
The facelifted Volvo XC60 has made its grand entrance in India, boasting subtle exterior updates and significant tech enhancements. The SUV, priced at Rs 71.9 lakh (ex-showroom), is now available in a single fully-loaded variant.
Exterior Changes
The facelifted XC60 sports a sharper front grille with diagonal slats, inspired by the XC90. The SUV also features redesigned 19-inch alloy wheels, sleeker LED headlights with integrated DRLs, and smoked LED tail-lamps at the rear.
Interior Upgrades
Inside, the facelifted XC60 receives a significant tech boost with an 11.2-inch portrait-oriented infotainment touchscreen powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a premium 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, four-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and luxurious materials like Nappa leather and genuine wood trim.
Mechanical Specifications
Mechanically, the XC60 continues with the same 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a mild-hybrid system, producing 250 hp and 360 Nm torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and AWD system.
Safety and Performance
Safety features include multiple airbags, 360-degree cameras, and Level-2 ADAS features. The facelifted XC60 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.9 seconds, making it a swift and agile SUV.
Competitive Comparison
In comparison with key competitors in the Indian market, the Volvo XC60 offers a distinct blend of strong safety, tech-rich features, and minimalist Scandinavian design. The facelifted XC60 is E20-compliant, ensuring it meets India's environmental standards.
Two new color options for the facelifted XC60 are Mulberry Red and Forest Lake, adding a touch of elegance to this premium SUV.
