Seoul Improves Bus Information Terminals for Enhanced Passenger Convenience
Seoul, South Korea - Seoul Metropolitan Government has upgraded the electric displays at its Bus Information Terminals (BITs) erected at various bus stops citywide. The latest update features clearer lettering and more precise images to help commuters better identify approaching buses.
The latest improvements, revealed on May 7, include the introduction of a moving bus-shaped icon that scrolls from right to left on the terminal screens along with the numbers of buses due to arrive. This update allows for three buses to be displayed simultaneously, improving upon the previous limit of two. Additionally, audio announcements have been refined to minimize excess information and highlight safety messages more prominently.
