Unutilized State Funding Primarily For Major Corporations

The Economic Stabilization Fund (ESF) has approved a total of €8.5 billion for stabilization measures for businesses across the country, with only €3.7 billion having been utilized as of the current date.

The ESF has approved €5.8 billion directly for large companies, with an additional €4.8 billion being approved but not claimed. However, the identities of the companies receiving these funds have not been disclosed in public sources.

One of the companies that has utilized funds from the ESF is Lufthansa, which has received a total of €1.3 billion so far. Lufthansa also has a further silent participation of €300 million for a 20 percent stake in Lufthansa's shares, and a silent participation of €1 billion that has not yet been touched.

The approval process for the ESF has been completed by 17 companies, but the identities of these companies have not been disclosed. The Economic Stabilization Fund has not yet finalized any deals with the 100 businesses that have expressed interest.

The ESF has a total capacity of €600 billion, providing stabilization measures to a total of 17 companies so far. The remaining €4.8 billion that has been approved but not claimed by companies remains to be seen.

As the economic recovery continues, it is expected that more businesses will seek support from the ESF to help them navigate through these challenging times. The ESF remains committed to providing the necessary resources to support the recovery of the economy and the success of businesses across the country.
