United Arab Emirates Initiates Third Edition of Emirates Labour Market Award Offering AED50 Million Reward Fund

The third edition of the Emirates Labour Market Award 2025 is now open for applications, recognising excellence across the UAE's private sector and workforce. This prestigious award, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is the first of its kind in the UAE and aims to drive sustainable development, competitiveness, and innovation.

The award spans five main categories: Establishments, Outstanding Workforce, Labour Accommodations, Business Services Partners, and Special Recognition. A new subcategory has been added under the 'Labour Accommodations' category, encouraging companies to invest in sustainable and recreational initiatives for employees. This move aims to foster workplace belonging, enhance productivity, and reinforce the UAE’s values of compassion and unity.

To qualify, companies and organisations must demonstrate outstanding achievements in areas such as Emiratisation (local workforce integration), workplace conditions, and employee well-being. Entities must show commitment to promoting fair labor practices and improving work environments in the UAE.

Winning companies can receive substantial incentives, such as MoHRE service discounts of up to AED1.2 million and priority access to premium customer service. The total prizes for this year's award reach AED50 million, an increase from AED37 million in 2024. The initiative recognises 98 winners, an increase from 84 in the previous year.

Individuals can also win up to AED100,000 as part of the Emirates Labour Market Award 2025. The evaluation for the award will be conducted by specialised committees based on rigorous criteria promoting excellence, innovation, and social responsibility.

The winners of the Emirates Labour Market Award 2025 will be honoured at a prestigious ceremony in November. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, emphasised the award's role in motivating and rewarding those advancing positive labor market reforms and practices in the UAE.

Applications for the Emirates Labour Market Award 2025 are open at riyada.mohre.gov.ae until August 31. For comprehensive updates, checking official UAE government labor department communications or the award’s official announcements closer to the event date is recommended.
