The agreement, which was reached after a 30-hour negotiation marathon, includes a 5.6% pay increase retroactive to July 1, 2025, and a second increase of 5.4% effective from July 1, 2026. This marks a significant victory for the ver.di union members who have been advocating for better wages.

The ballot to approve the agreement saw an overwhelming 88% of ver.di members voting in favour. The second ballot took place from July 28, 2025, to August 7, 2025. Immediately after the announcement of the ballot results, the responsible corporate wage committee decided to accept the wage agreement.
