Undercover at Night: Renovation of Osthof and Westhoffstrasse Occurs under the Cover of Darkness
In the coming weeks, the city of Münster will be carrying out essential road and appliance parts repair work on several key locations. Here's what you need to know:
The repair work on Westhoffstraße in Kinderhaus is scheduled from September 18 to September 27, 2025. The affected section is between Erlenkamp and Grotemeyerstraße. During the repair work, the road will be fully closed to traffic each night from 9 pm to 5 am. A detour via Westhoffstraße, Grevener Straße, and Straße Am Burloh will be in place.
Pedestrians can use the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street during the bike shop repair work. However, the repair work on the bike shop near me along Westhoffstraße will not affect the cyclists as it does not involve this section.
Meanwhile, the city is also repairing the road surface of Osthofstraße in Albachten from September 11th to 18th. The repair work on the Osthofstraße bike trail has already been completed.
On the night of September 17th to 18th, the city will be carrying out bike shop repair work on Osthofstraße. The affected section is between Straße Am Kämpken and Sendener Stiege. Pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected by the work or closures.
For those who frequent the K+K-Market on Westhoffstraße, rest assured that it will remain accessible until 10 pm each night during the repair work.
Lastly, a detour via Senden-Bösensell will be in place for both directions during the closures on Westhoffstraße. The road repair work is expected to be completed by September 18th, at 5 am, for Westhoffstraße, and by September 27th, at 5 am, for Osthofstraße.
Cyclists can use the road during the bike shop near me repair work on Osthofstraße, as the road repairs will already be completed by then.
