Unconventional Strategies for Overcoming Typical Conference Room Hurdles
In the realm of modern workspace providers, Tateside has made a significant stride with the introduction of a custom screen shroud. This innovative solution, developed in collaboration with British furniture designer Matthew Hill, aims to address common challenges in meeting space setups.
The problem of users disrupting the AV system setup, often by removing cables or plugging in their own devices, has long been an issue for Tateside. To tackle this, they've created a shroud made from a moisture-resistant substrate, finished in a matt black high-pressure laminate.
This versatile shroud comes in a range of sizes to fit screens from 50-75 inches, and it can co-house Cisco Room Bars up to a 55-inch screen and Cisco Room Bar Pro models up to an 85-inch screen. The shroud fully encloses the screen and its peripherals, preventing users from tampering with the setup.
The shroud is more than just a protective cover; it's a stylish addition to any modern meeting space. It can be customized in a multitude of finishes, including wood grains, ensuring it blends seamlessly with the interior design.
The shroud is flat-packed for global deliveries, making it easy to roll out across multiple sites globally. It features pre-machined threaded mounting points for screen brackets and UC video bars, allowing for quick installation and alignment.
Moreover, the shroud includes an acoustically transparent material to hide the UC bar behind, enhancing the audio quality in meetings. Tateside's primary goal with this solution is to ensure consistent user experiences and a true BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) meeting setup.
The custom screen shroud addresses another challenge: unwanted downtime caused by onsite personnel continuously reconnecting and setting up the room. By providing a secure and streamlined solution, Tateside aims to provide a more efficient and hassle-free meeting experience for all users.
