UAE Launches Initiatives to Empower Emirati Youth in Entrepreneurship

The Federal Youth Authority (FYA) has launched a series of initiatives to empower Emirati youth in entrepreneurship. The programmes aim to equip young entrepreneurs with practical skills, professional networks, and resources for scalable businesses, reflecting the leadership's vision for a sustainable economic future.

The initiatives, part of 'The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World' campaign launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, include the Entrepreneurs Roadshow. This national tour engaged over 5,000 youth across all emirates, embodying the UAE's commitment to fostering innovation and preparing its youth for the next economic chapter.

The programmes offer workshops on cultural product design, innovation labs, and mentorship through Youth Hub incubators. The Young Entrepreneurs Forum, the UAE's largest entrepreneurship gathering, is also part of these initiatives. The 'Done by Youth' label has opened registration, recognizing Emirati-led projects and building investor confidence in youth-driven ventures.

Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the FYA, have expressed their support for these initiatives. They aim to equip young Emiratis with the tools necessary to succeed in the ever-evolving economic landscape, positioning the UAE as a global leader in youth entrepreneurship.
