Twitter Profile Update: Strength Persists for Mona M03, Momentum for P7+ Decreases on March 3

XPeng, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has seen a surge in sales in the first seven months of 2025, driven by expanding SUV offerings and strong demand in the Chinese EV market.

Mona M03 Leads the Way

The Mona M03, XPeng's affordable electric sedan, remains a strong seller. In July alone, over 15,000 units were delivered, marking its 11th consecutive month surpassing 10,000 monthly deliveries. The Mona M03 led the price segment between 100,000 and 200,000 yuan for pure electric vehicles early in 2025 and has been a stable pillar in XPeng's lineup.

P7+ and SUVs Gaining Ground

While the P7+ sedan is still a top contributor, its sales proportion decreased somewhat in Q2 2025 as SUV sales gained share. The G6, G9, and the newly launched G7 SUVs are increasing their sales share. The G7 SUV, launched in July 2025, quickly achieved over 10,000 orders within minutes and exceeded 10,000 units delivered by mid-August.

The P7+, launched on November 7, 2024, has seen month-on-month declines in deliveries for five months in the first seven months of this year. In July, it delivered 5,614 units, making it the third-highest-selling XPeng model.

Overall Sales Surge

Overall company sales surged, with 103,181 vehicles delivered in Q2 2025 (a 241.6% YoY jump), pushing first half 2025 deliveries to 197,189 units, already surpassing 2024's total annual sales. For the first seven months of 2025, XPeng delivered approximately 233,906 vehicles, showing strong momentum approaching half a million for the year.

Average Selling Price Increases

XPeng's average selling price (ASP) increased from approximately 152,800 yuan in Q1 2025 to about 163,600 yuan in Q2 2025, which reflects the growing share of higher-value models like the G7 and G9 SUVs in its mix.

In summary, XPeng's growth is driven by expanding SUV offerings, stable sedan sales particularly from the Mona M03 and P7+, and overall strong demand in the Chinese EV market. The company's sales trends indicate a shift towards SUVs, with the G6, G9, and the newly launched G7 contributing significantly to the surge in sales. The Mona M03 continues to lead in the affordable electric sedan segment, consistently delivering over 10,000 units per month.
