In an unexpected turn of events, a drone incident at Timashevskaya station in the Krasnodar Territory caused significant disruption to railway operations. The incident involved fallen fragments from downed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that damaged the contact network at the station, leading to the delay of 12 passenger trains, including Train No. 125 traveling from Moscow to Novorossiysk.

The debris also caused damage to a carriage window of Train No. 125, resulting in minor injuries to a passenger who received immediate medical assistance on-site. Additionally, minor damage was reported to private homes in the Temryuk and Slavyansk districts nearby.

Russian Railways (RZD) and local authorities swiftly managed the situation, aiming to minimize delays. However, the incident resulted in a twelve-hour delay for the affected trains.

Train No. 125 resumed its journey at 03:50 with a 50-minute delay. Passengers are advised to check train movement information via RZD's mobile app or website for the most up-to-date information.

It's worth noting that this incident is not the first time railway services have been disrupted in the region. Previously, nine Freight Carrying Platform (FPC) trains were delayed due to an incident at Peschanokopskaya and Timashevskaya stations.

RZD is actively working to minimize delay times for trains and has reported the occurrence of the incident. For the safety and convenience of passengers, it is crucial to remain vigilant and stay informed about train movements.
