As a result, train services on the Ulm-Stuttgart Railway Line are gradually resuming. Arverio's trains are expected to resume service in the evening. However, passengers heading to Stuttgart may find alternative routes useful, as RE 200 trains to Wendlingen am Neckar are available.
Meanwhile, train services on line RE 5 from Stuttgart will terminate and start from Geislingen an der Steige. Additionally, replacement bus services have been set up between Geislingen and Ulm.
The disruptions in regional Deutsche Bahn services are expected to continue until Thursday, with Stuttgart Hbf experiencing additional trains running from August 11 to 14 and from August 15 to 22. The Stuttgart area is also undergoing infrastructure improvements, such as the modernization of the S-Bahn Stammstrecke, which may cause further disruptions from July 26 to September 6, 2025.
