Tink Launches New Energy Platform with Viessmann for Seamless Smart Home Solutions
Berlin-based Tink, established in 2016, has launched a new platform, tink.energy, in collaboration with climate and energy technology provider Viessmann. The platform aims to simplify the energy transition for households by integrating smart home and energy solutions seamlessly.
Tink, with around 90 employees and two million customers, has achieved a turnover of over 100 million euros. The company operates in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Sweden. Viessmann will play a central role as a technology partner for heat pump, solar, and storage systems on the new platform.
The tink.energy platform will offer complete systems and modular solutions, including photovoltaics, heat pumps, storage, wall boxes, and smart home technologies from Viessmann. These will be delivered and installed by specialist companies. Customers will receive initial advice, support for installation and commissioning, financing solutions, and promotion through the platform.
The implementation of installation and service activities will be carried out directly with the customer by the Viessmann network of local businesses. The platform aims to make the energy transition easy, smart, and transparent for households by connecting these solutions into a seamless overall system.
Tink, an online trading platform for smart home solutions, introduced tink.energy at the International Radio Exhibition (IFA) in Berlin. The platform is expected to be available online in the coming weeks, with Viessmann playing a central role in providing heat pump, solar, and storage systems. Through tink.energy, households can now easily access and manage their energy systems in a single, smart platform.
