Listen up, folks! over the next three years, Yakutia is shelling out over three billion rubles to give a roof over the heads of orphaned children and children deprived of their parents' care. That's the word from Yakutia's Construction Minister, Victor Romanov.
Breaking it down, the budget for 2025 sets aside a cool 849 million rubles, with 140 million coming from the federal budget. Looking ahead to 2026 and 2027, the amount shoots up to a billion rubles each year. In other words, Yakutia's got a whopping 3.3 billion rubles earmarked for housing these little ones over the next three years.
Now, hold on, because things get even more heartwarming. As of now, there are a staggering 2,518 children on a waiting list for housing. Out of those, a whopping 1,798 are entitled to a place to call home. So, if you're keeping track, Yakutia is putting its money where its heart is!
