The Skinny on Krasnoyarsk Krai's Ag Export

Krasnoyarsk Krai, Siberia, has shipped roughly 750,000 metric tons of grains, oilseed crops, and peas, both domestically and internationally, since early 2025.

The local Roskhozdepartment—in charge of verifying each batch of goods exported—revealed these trade volumes. Less than 10% of the total was exported, with 70,8 thousand metric tons of wheat, rapeseed, barley, peas, and lentils heading to countries like Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.

About half of the exported rapeseed and nearly all of it went to Belarus, while China received mostly wheat (11.6 thousand metric tons), along with lentils, rapeseed, and peas. Kazakhstan received 1.5 thousand metric tons of wheat, and 0.6 thousand metric tons of rapeseed, with Mongolia receiving only wheat, to the tune of 0.8 thousand metric tons.

Meanwhile, 677 thousand metric tons were trucked to various regions within Russia, representing a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The majority of Krasnoyarsk's grains, rapeseed, and peas made their way to the Kaliningrad and Leningrad regions, Primorsky Krai, and the Krasnodar Krai.

According to the department, all exported goods complied with the recipient nations' requirements, and were accepted by importers.
