Textile company Schiesser intends to establish 25 new outlets across Europe by the year 2027.
In an exciting development for the laundry brand Schiesser, CEO Sonja Balodis announced a marketing offensive and expansion plans to boost the company's external visibility. This move comes amidst a continued trend of increased sales for Schiesser in the first half of 2025.
Balodis, who has been at the helm since March 2025, made the announcement in the "South German Newspaper" on Thursday. The Israeli textile conglomerate Delta Galil, which has owned Schiesser since 2012, will undoubtedly support these ambitious plans.
Schiesser's products are currently sold through both stationary retail and its own stores, with a balance across all distribution channels. About half of its products are sold through its own stores or directly to customers online. This balance has contributed to the significant sales figure of over 200 million euros achieved in the 2024 business year, a significant increase compared to the previous year.
The company currently operates 110 own stores and plans to open an additional 25 stores in Europe by 2027. This expansion is aimed at reaching a broader audience, as currently, 80% of Schiesser's customers are between 40 and 60 years old.
Balodis' announcement marks a new chapter for Schiesser as it aims to increase its external visibility and continue its successful sales trend. The marketing offensive and expansion plans are expected to further solidify Schiesser's position in the market and attract a more diverse customer base.
