Tenable Unveils Innovative AI Tools to Bolster Cybersecurity

Despite 82% of Australian companies claiming responsible AI use, only 24% have measures to align with global best practices. Meanwhile, cybersecurity firm Tenable has unveiled innovative AI tools to bolster security and efficiency.

Tenable has introduced four prototype AI cybersecurity tools to tackle emerging threats. These include G-3PO, an automated reverse engineering tool for swift code understanding, and EscalateGPT, which identifies issues in IAM policies to fortify cloud security. The tools, part of Tenable's 'How Generative AI Is Changing Security Research' report, also cover reverse engineering, code debugging, web application security, and cloud-based tool visibility.

Separately, Databricks launched its Data Intelligence for Cybersecurity platform on September 30, 2025, featuring four new AI-based cybersecurity tools to counter the latest threats. For web application security, BurpGPT, an extension using ChatGPT and Burp Suite, aids in finding and fixing vulnerabilities. The full report is available via the provided link.

While Australian companies may overestimate their responsible AI use, Tenable's AI advancements demonstrate the industry's commitment to staying ahead of cyber threats. These tools promise enhanced security, productivity, and research efficiency.
