Streets Remain Closed for Celebration of National Day

In the heart of Ravensburg, the annual Rutenfest is set to take place from July 25 to July 29. With this exciting event comes a series of street closures, bus detours, and parking restrictions to ensure safety and facilitate the festivities.

**Street Closures**

Comprehensive street closures are expected from as early as 5 am on July 28, with the entire city center closed. On July 27, the route Marktstraße, Kirchstraße, Frauentorplatz, Schussenstraße, and Kuppelnaustraße will be closed from 9 to 10 am. On July 29, street closures will be required during the shooting parade from the city center to the Kuppelnauplatz. On Ruten Monday, Schussenstraße, Wilhelmstraße, Leonhardstraße, Wangener Straße, Bachstraße, and Marienplatz will be fully closed from 7:30 am to approximately 12:30 pm.

**Bus Detours**

During the Rutenfest, the city center will be closed to bus traffic. On Ruten Monday, buses will run via the Ulmer Straße bus stop to the train station due to the full closure of Schussenstraße, Wilhelmstraße, Leonhardstraße, Wangener Straße, Bachstraße, and Marienplatz. Bus lines R40 and S40, line 7535, and the Flappach bath bus will run towards Ravensburg from the replacement stop Abzw. Hinzistobel in Holbeinstraße, Schlierer Straße to the Friedhof stop on Ruten Monday.

**Parking Restrictions**

Parking in the vicinity of the event may be restricted or require special permits. However, the Marienplatz underground garage will remain accessible during the closures. The Oberschwabenhallenparkplatz will be closed on Ruten Monday from 6 am to 2 pm and on Rutendienstag from 12 pm on Tuesday until July 30th, 6 am due to the fireworks.

**Additional Information**

Taxi stops will be relocated from the Marienplatz to the Eisenbahnstraße along the St. Jodoks Church throughout the entire Rutenfest. All city and intercity trips will serve the Ravensburg bus station during the Rutenfest. Trips in the direction of north/Weingarten will run from the Ravensburg train station via the Ulmer Straße bus stop to the Berufsschulzentrum stop and continue normally on Ruten Monday.

Line 21 will run via Zeppelinstraße/Frauentor to the train station until 7:30 am and via Gartenstraße/Ulmer Straße to the train station from 7:30 am during the Rutenfest. The Berufsschulzentrum, Police Headquarters, St. Elisabethenklinikum, Gymnasien, and Frauentor stops will be suspended from 7:30 am to around 12:30 pm on Ruten Monday. The Marienplatz and Heilig-Geist-Spital stops will be suspended from July 23 to the end of the Rutenfest.
