In its fourth year, the Storefronts to the Forefront™ initiative continues to strengthen Cincinnati and its surrounding region's unique neighborhood business districts. The program, a partnership between Duke Energy and The Huntington National Bank, is dedicated to promoting and supporting local small businesses across various communities, including West End, Montgomery, Northgate, St. Bernard, East End, and Covington, Falmouth in both Ohio and Kentucky [1][2][4].
This year, seven $5,000 grants have been allocated for storefront businesses in the mentioned neighborhoods. Among the recipients are Bike 513 in Northgate, Ohio, Dots Fine Shoe Repair in St. Bernard, Ohio, Daylily in East End, Ohio, Ollie's Trolley in West End, Ohio, Wyatt's Supermarket in Falmouth, Strasse Dog in Covington, and Walker Brothers Ice Cream in Montgomery, Ohio [3].
Amy Spiller, president of Duke Energy Ohio and Kentucky, expressed pride in being a founding partner of Storefronts to the Forefront.
