In a significant move towards promoting employability for underserved and underprivileged populations, the leading global workforce solutions provider, our group, has announced plans to assist at least 50,000 refugees in finding quality jobs by 2025. This ambitious goal was unveiled by Christophe Catoir, President of our group, at the Tent European Business Summit.
Over the past decade, our group has been collaborating with esteemed organisations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the European Network Against Racism's Equal@Work Platform, to facilitate job opportunities for the disadvantaged.
While the specific details of the plan for assisting refugees in finding employment in 2025 are yet to be disclosed, it is known that language and professional training opportunities will be provided as part of the up-skilling and re-skilling programs. At least 10,000 refugees are expected to benefit from these programs.
In addition to supporting refugees, our group aims to facilitate employment for persons with disabilities, support disadvantaged youth, and address the challenges faced by the long-term unemployed.
Last year, in 2022, our group successfully assisted over 15,000 refugees in Europe find employment. The group has also shown its commitment to supporting the displaced by launching adeccojobsforukraine.com, a platform connecting over 10,000 Ukrainian refugees with job opportunities.
