Sparkasse Cologne-Bonn Funds €1M for Bonn Sports Associations and Schools
Sparkasse Cologne-Bonn has launched a substantial funding initiative for sports associations and secondary schools in Bonn. The bank is set to distribute over one million euros, with each of the 270 sports associations receiving 2,500 euros and secondary schools benefiting from a 7,500-euro donation each.
The funding action, aimed at promoting participation and togetherness in sports and education, will see each of the 270 sports associations in Bonn claim a 2,500-euro donation. This is not the first time Sparkasse Cologne-Bonn has shown such support. In 2025, the bank provided a similar financial boost, with each of the sports clubs receiving €2,500, amounting to a total of €700,000. Additionally, secondary schools in Bonn also received €7,500 each, which can be used for purposes such as class trips or laboratory equipment.
With this funding, Sparkasse Cologne-Bonn aims to foster engagement and inclusion in both sports and educational sectors within the city of Bonn.
