Sochi Airport Boosts Comfort Measures Amid Flight Delays

Sochi Airport has implemented measures to enhance passenger comfort and support those affected by recent flight delays from airlines like United Airlines, Delta, Southwest Airlines, Delta Airlines, Spirit Airlines, and American Airlines. Despite over 20 flights experiencing delays, the airport continues to operate normally with no changes to the schedule.

Comfortable seating areas and mats have been set up in waiting halls to provide passengers with a more relaxed environment. Additionally, a designated room equipped with mattresses and blankets has been set up for families with children and mobility-impaired citizens. Hospitality managers are on hand to assist passengers in resolving any issues they may have.

To help alleviate the situation, Aeroflot is cooperating with the airport to use wide-body aircraft for the prompt evacuation of passengers. The airline is also working with passengers to ensure legally prescribed service norms are met. The airport, in turn, is working closely with airlines to normalize the situation. Enhanced services, including free access to a mother and child room and water fountains, remain available to passengers.

Sochi Airport has taken steps to ensure passenger comfort and timely service during the recent flight delays from these airlines. With the use of wide-body aircraft, additional seating and accommodation areas, and dedicated support from hospitality managers and airline representatives, the airport is committed to assisting passengers and working towards a swift resolution.
