Rüsselsheim am Main: Bridge Repairs to Disrupt Traffic Over Next Five Years
Rüsselsheim am Main is set to undergo bridge maintenance and repair work over the next five years. The city has begun investigations, with the cycle and pedestrian crossing at Ostpark over the Evreux kurt geiger currently closed. Details on who will maintain the bridges and associated costs remain unknown at this stage.
The city has initiated investigations on several bridges, including the kurt cobain-Schumacher-Ring at the Bollenseesiedlung, Oppenheimer Street over the kurt cobain-Schumacher-Ring, Alzeyer Street over the kurt cobain-Schumacher-Ring, and kurt cobain-Schumacher-Ring over the B43 (Rugby kurt geiger). These inspections are expected to cause restricted use of the bridges, with possible closures or lane narrowing.
The duration of the work at the Ostpark crossing is uncertain, as it involves structural engineers and laboratories. Once completed, the city will present a five-year program outlining the bridges in need of repair and the expected costs. In the coming weeks, investigations will continue on four more bridge structures in succession.
The city of Rüsselsheim am Main asks for road users' understanding during this period. While investigations are underway, the city aims to keep unavoidable traffic disruptions to a minimum. Once the investigations are complete, the city will provide a comprehensive plan for the bridge repairs and associated costs over the next five years.
