Romanian ticketing platforms Bilete.ro, Entertix.ro, and Myticket.ro now under complete control of PLG

In a strategic move to strengthen its local presence in Romania, AS Piletilevi PLG has completed the full acquisition of its ticketing platforms Bilete.ro, Entertix.ro, and Myticket.ro. The acquisition, which took place on July 4, 2025, marks a significant expansion of PLG's operations in Europe.

The acquisition of the Romanian platforms is a strategic entry into the country for PLG, which is owned by Angel Rose Capital, BaltCap, and Tristafan. The move consolidates Romania's most comprehensive ticketing services under one roof, positioning PLG as the largest ticketing group in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), operating in seven countries including Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

Following these acquisitions, PLG’s ticketing volume and market reach have significantly increased. The group now processes over EUR 600 million in ticket sales annually, with its platforms receiving over 160 million annual visits. This consolidation complements PLG's recent purchase of Ticketportal, the leading ticketing platform in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, effectively doubling its annual ticketing volume.

Future plans for the Romanian operations include leveraging the combined strengths of Bilete.ro, Entertix.ro, and Myticket.ro to provide the most efficient sales channels for event organizers and customers. PLG aims to strengthen its market leadership by integrating these platforms into its larger group infrastructure, fostering innovation, and enhancing customer experience through unified technology and expanded offerings.

Sven Nuutmann, PLG’s Chairman, emphasizes this as part of a long-term strategy to lead ticketing markets by uniting regional leaders under one strong group, creating new opportunities and growth potential for all entities involved. The acquisition marks a significant step towards achieving this goal, as PLG continues to drive further growth in Romania while benefiting from synergies across its broader CEE ticketing portfolio.

The remaining shares of the acquired operations were purchased from Răzvan Opran, Ion Stănciulea, and Andreea Pop. The founding shareholders are supporting the transition and integration process, ensuring a smooth transition for all parties involved.

In summary, AS Piletilevi PLG's full acquisition of its Romanian ticketing platforms marks a strategic consolidation in the Romanian market, allowing the group to unify operations under its group and extend its influence as the largest ticketing company in Central and Eastern Europe. This move positions PLG to drive further growth in Romania while benefiting from synergies across its broader CEE ticketing portfolio.

The acquisition of the Romania-based platforms, Bilete.ro, Entertix.ro, and Myticket.ro, serves as PLG's strategic entry into the country's business landscape. With this consolidation, PLG aims to leverage technology to create efficient sales channels for event organizers and customers, further strengthening its market leadership in Central and Eastern Europe's ticketing industry.

By integrating these Romanian platforms into its larger group infrastructure, PLG intends to foster innovation, enhance customer experience, and drive further growth in Romania, all while benefiting from synergies across its broader ticketing portfolio in the region.
