Revised Bus Routes for Schoolchildren Directed by Rostislav Goldstein at Syktyvkar Authorities
In a recent meeting held in Syktyvkar, the Head of the Republic of Komi, Rostislav Goldstein, addressed concerns regarding the large-scale capital repair program of schools in the city. The meeting, which was attended by cabinet members and municipal heads, aimed to discuss the inconveniences caused by the program.
Vladimir Golodin, the mayor of Syktyvkar, reported that the planned 2025 school capital repair works will commence from January 1 of the following year, with three schools entering the repair program. However, he mentioned that there will be practically no massive repair for the next four months.
Rostislav Goldstein expressed concerns about the redistribution of students to other schools during the repair program, which could potentially cause inconvenience to parents and schoolchildren. To mitigate this, he suggested organizing a temporary route network for buses to make it more convenient for schoolchildren and parents.
In response to these concerns, Vladimir Golodin stated that he and the regional government will take the people's perspective into account when making decisions. He even urged Golodin to take the bus to ensure there are no inconveniences firsthand.
The meeting's outcome includes the consideration of more convenient bus routes for schoolchildren. Rostislav Goldstein also advised Natalya Spiridonova, the mayor of Syktyvkar, to improve bus connections for students to alleviate the temporary inconveniences caused by the school repair program.
Vladimir Golodin further stated that the next three schools will enter the capital repair program from January 1 of the following year, and the works will end on September 1. He emphasized that the task was set at an expanded staff meeting, and the task is to consider more convenient bus routes for schoolchildren.
The large-scale capital repair program of schools in Syktyvkar is causing temporary inconveniences, but with the concerns addressed and solutions proposed, the city's education system is on track for improvement.
