LuLu Group, a leading retail conglomerate, has expanded its footprint in Saudi Arabia with the opening of a new hypermarket in Al Orouba, Dammam. The store spans 81,268 sq ft and offers a wide range of products, including groceries, electronics, home furnishings, stationery, and toys.
The new LuLu Retail store is designed to deliver a world-class shopping experience to customers in Dammam. The store's inauguration was attended by Engr. Fayez Bin Ali Al Asmari, head of municipality - West Dammam, Engr. Ibrahim Abu Abaah, general secretary - Albeer Association, and Yusuffali M A, chairman of LuLu Group.
In addition to the new store, LuLu Group has also launched a solar power project at its Central warehouse facility in the Eastern Province. The 707.7 kWp rooftop solar plant, developed in partnership with the Kanoo-CleanMax joint venture, generates over 1.19 million kWh of green energy annually. This project reduces LuLu Group's carbon emissions by approximately 535 tonnes per year.
