TenneT Transforms Germany's Energy Landscape with Completed Transformer Housing

TenneT, Germany's largest transmission network operator, has successfully completed the construction of a new housing for a transformer, marking a significant milestone in the country's energy transition.

The transformer, transported seven months ago, is now housed in a custom-built construction by TenneT. This new infrastructure is a key component in the transmission of electricity, playing a crucial role in the SuedOstLink power line project, a major grid expansion initiative.
