Region of Krasnoyarsk joins top three regions in Russia with the most capital repairs on houses
In a significant development, the Krasnoyarsky Krai has emerged as one of the top three regions in Russia for home repair and maintenance efforts, according to the Federal Fund for the Development of Territories data. The fund is monitoring the implementation of regional repair programs.
So far this year, an estimated 900,000 people living in over 24 million square meters of residential properties across Russia have received home repairs. The Central, Siberian, and Volga federal districts have demonstrated the highest number of home repairs in the first four months of the year.
Among the regions, Moscow Oblast, Moscow, Krasnoyarsky Krai, Chelyabinsk Oblast, and Krasnodar Krai have carried out the most renovations to their housing stock. Specifically, the Krasnoyarsky Krai has completed repairs on 215 homes to date.
According to the regional minister of construction, several key improvements have already been made in the Krasnoyarsky Krai, including the replacement of a gas supply system in 18 apartment buildings, the capital renovation of 80 roofs, and the replacement of elevators in 55 buildings. The region has also repaired 5 basements, upgraded various engineering systems for hot and cold water supply, heating, and drainage in 36 buildings, revamped 14 facades, and replaced the electrical systems in 53 buildings.
The regional construction ministry expects that more than 1,500 basic home and apartment systems will be repaired across approximately 1,220 multi-story buildings in the Krasnoyarsky Krai this year.
