**Road Construction on B36 in Rheinstetten, Karlsruhe: Traffic Management Plan Unveiled**

A major road construction project is set to begin on the B36 in Rheinstetten, Karlsruhe, from July 9, 2025, and continue until mid-October. The construction, part of Phase 1.2, will focus on the section between the B36/main street intersection and the exhibition alley entrance, with additional repair work at the intersection areas of the L566 and the K3581 (Herrenalber Street).

To ensure the safety of drivers and facilitate the construction process, a traffic management plan will be implemented. This plan is likely to include temporary lane closures or reductions, detour routes, signage and notifications, and possible restrictions on heavy vehicles or peak-hour traffic.

Starting from July 8, 2025, traffic on the B36 will be shifted to one lane in both directions. Traffic in the direction of Karlsruhe will be diverted south of the K3581 and around the construction site, while traffic from Rastatt will be directed towards portable protective devices set up on the B36 to separate the two directions of traffic.

Detour routes will be established to bypass the construction zone. For instance, traffic coming from Ettlingen will be diverted onto the L566 at the intersection of L566/K3581, while traffic from Silberstreifen will follow a detour starting from the roundabout at Epplesee via the exhibition alley. The entrance to the main street from Forchheim onto the B36 will also be fully closed, but access to Grünwinkler Street will remain open.

The Karlsruhe Government Presidency will provide timely information on the specific construction progress and possible restrictions before the start of each construction phase. For exact details on lane closures, detours, and traffic coordination, it is recommended to consult official sources such as the Karlsruhe city traffic department, the Baden-Württemberg transport ministry, or the construction contractor managing the B36 project.

The repair area covers a length of approximately 4.5 kilometers, and the exact nature of the construction work in Construction Phase 1.2 is not specified at this time. The actual repair work in the first construction phase will begin on July 9, 2025.

In construction phase 1.1, from July 9 to approximately July 16, 2025, the intersection of the K3581 and a section of the OGA in the direction of Karlsruhe will be renewed, causing a full closure of the B36 in that direction.

The B36 road construction in Rheinstetten is part of a larger renewal project scheduled from June 23, 2025, to mid-October 2025. The Karlsruhe Government Presidency encourages drivers to plan their routes accordingly and to stay informed by following official traffic updates.

The road construction on B36 in Rheinstetten, Karlsruhe, involves not just the transportation sector but also the finance industry, as the construction project might require significant funding. Moreover, the construction could potentially impact the movement of heavy vehicles within the industry, necessitating temporary transportation restrictions.
