Chelyabinsk To Temporarily Close Lenin Prospect for Green Marathon Event on May 31
The City of Chelyabinsk will impose temporary restrictions on traffic on Saturday, May 31, due to the Green Marathon event, according to the press service of OGKU "Organizer of Transport of Chelyabinsk Oblast."
From 6 am to 12 pm on that day, Lenin Prospect will be closed from Vostochnaya Street to Lesoparkovaya Street, as well as Lesoparkovaya Street from the monument to I.V. Kurchatov to Sonya Krivaya Street. Additionally, the section of these streets affected by the closure will impact public transportation.
During the closure, bus routes will be diverted through Tsivil’linga, Vostochnaya, and Sonya Krivaya Streets. The specific modified routes for buses on May 31 are as follows:
- No2 - will travel from Churilovo to Petra Stolypina, including stops at Vostochnaya, Sonya Krivaya, Lesoparkovaya, and various other locations.
- No3 - will service routes between ChVVAKUSH and Engels, but will turn around before Lenin Prospect.
- No4 - will travel from Mamina to Gagarin Park, among other stops.
- No15 - will run between ChMK and Svobody, with a detour through Tsivil’linga, Vostochnaya, and surrounding streets.
- No22a, No26, No33, No35, No51, No58, No64, No74, No78, No81, No123, No128, and No483 will also be affected, with specific details available on the City's transport authority website.
Trolleybus routes No10, No12, No14, and No19, as well as tram routes No2 and No20, will also experience changes due to the event. For detailed information on these changes, residents are encouraged to check the City's transport authority or event organizer's official websites.
