Qualys & ServiceNow Strengthen Partnership for Enhanced Vulnerability Management
Qualys and ServiceNow have strengthened their multi-year partnership with a series of integrations and new tools. The collaboration aims to enhance vulnerability management, compliance, and remediation processes.
Qualys has developed two versions of CMDB Sync, enabling real-time syncing of ServiceNow's CMDB information with Qualys CyberSecurity Asset Management. This integration allows for better asset visibility and management.
To facilitate real-time vulnerability tracking, Qualys is introducing the Vulnerability Push Mechanism. This tool ensures critical vulnerabilities identified on business-critical assets are synced instantly with ServiceNow.
ServiceNow has launched the Security Operations Vulnerability Remediation tool, integrated with Qualys' Vulnerability Management, Detection & Response, and Container Security. This integration streamlines vulnerability remediation processes.
Qualys has also introduced VMDR for ITSM, allowing customers to orchestrate vulnerabilities in ServiceNow without needing ServiceNow's Security Operations Vulnerability Remediation tool. This feature simplifies vulnerability management workflows.
ServiceNow's Compliance module now includes Qualys Policy Compliance integration, enhancing policy auditing and compliance tracking.
Qualys VMDR for ITSM 2.0 introduces features like Vulnerability Grouping, Exception Filing, and False Positive request submissions, further enhancing vulnerability management capabilities.
Looking ahead, Qualys plans to expand ServiceNow integration to support File Integrity Management, Policy Compliance, Cloud Security, and Patch Management by the end of 2022.
The expanded integration between Qualys and ServiceNow is set to improve vulnerability management, compliance, and remediation processes. These developments reflect the companies' commitment to their multi-year partnership and their shared goal of enhancing IT and cybersecurity operations.
