Proposals have already been put forward by the Commission.
The Passenger Council of Halle Transport AG (HAVAG) is inviting interested citizens to discuss their concerns and suggestions for improving local public transport during office hours on September 16, 2025. This voluntary committee, which is part of the Stadtwerke Halle group, actively works on enhancing local transport services.
The office hours will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Service Center Escalator. The team, consisting of 18 members representing various passenger groups, will be available for an open conversation. This includes the chairman, Hans-Joachim Berkes, and his deputy, Thomas Faust, who were both elected in early 2014.
The Passenger Council is responsible for a variety of aspects, including new acquisitions, construction measures, route network, and customer contact. They represent the concerns of passengers in their dialogue with HAVAG, aiming to continuously improve public transport in Halle.
During the office hours, citizens have the opportunity to discuss specific experiences in local public transport and general topics. The goal is to use the feedback gathered to improve the services offered by HAVAG.
If you have any questions or would like to share your thoughts, you can reach out to the Passenger Council via email at [email protected]. The office hours provide a platform for a personal dialogue with members of the Passenger Council, ensuring that the voices of the citizens are heard and considered in the decisions and developments of HAVAG.
While the 16 additional members of the HAVAG Passenger Council available on September 16, 2025, are not publicly listed, the team is looking forward to welcoming and engaging with as many citizens as possible during the office hours.
