Get ready for an exciting event for car enthusiasts! On July 19, 2025, WB & Sons will be hosting a spectacular auction of classic and modern classic cars at their Newcastle upon Tyne base. With a diverse range of over 176 lots, this auction promises to appeal to collectors and enthusiasts of both classic and modern classic cars within the UK market.

The auction catalog is available on the WB & Sons auction website, where bidding is possible in person, by telephone, proxy, or online starting at 11 am on July 19, 2025.

Highlights of the auction include a 1967 Series 1 Jaguar E-Type, a highly original restored Austin 7 Mini, and a Daimler 2½ Litre V8 with a long-expired MOT. Other notable entries include two Porsche 911s from 2004, one a convertible and one a coupe, a 1976 Autobianchi A112 Abarth competition car, and a 1991 Fiesta RS Turbo in Mercury Grey, expected to sell for £15,000-£20,000.

British classics like Mini and Jaguar, Italian hot hatches, classic competition cars, and modern classics, including various Ford, Mercedes, Ferrari, Volvo, Woolsley, Alvis models, will be featured in the auction. Rare finds include a 1936 Dagenham-built Model 48 Saloon, a 1959 TR3A, and a 1973 2000 Triumph saloon.

The auction also features a wide selection of MGs and Triumphs, two BMW Z3 2.8s, two examples of the Mk3 Escort RS1600i, and two Ford Racing Puma models. Among the lots, you'll find a 1969 MGC roadster, a right-hand drive Fiat 500L from 1972, and a 2005 Honda S2000 GT.

One of the most anticipated entries is a 1991 Panda, showing just 35,000 miles and guided at £4000-£6000. Another standout is a 1959 TR3A, which could sell for up to £24,000.
