Prediction of Bitcoin Value Reaches $1 Million by Winklevoss Brother

At the Bitcoin 2025 conference, co-founder of Gemini crypto exchange, Cameron Winklevoss, expressed his belief that the price of Bitcoin could surge to $1 million per coin by 2025. Winklevoss, comparing Bitcoin's fixed supply of 21 million coins to the size of the global market for major assets, argued that Bitcoin should eventually be valued at around that amount.

While discussing Bitcoin's long-term value, Winklevoss stated that while $100,000 for a Bitcoin is exciting, the digital currency's potential value is much higher. At the TOKEN2049 event in Dubai, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX and CIO of Maelstrom, also predicted Bitcoin could potentially hit $1 million. He urged people to invest heavily in Bitcoin.

Renowned author Robert Kiyosaki, famous for his book Rich Dad Poor Dad, added to the optimistic predictions, suggesting Bitcoin could rise to as high as $250,000 by 2025. Kiyosaki expressed that the current financial system is in decline, making Bitcoin, gold, and silver safe investments. He encourages people to buy and hold Bitcoin.

Standard Chartered's Geoffrey Kendrick also predicted Bitcoin's price may hit $200,000 by the end of 2025 and even potentially reach $500,000 by 2028.

As of writing, the value of Bitcoin stands at $107,569, though it recently reached a record high of $111,970 just six days ago, on May 22, 2025.

While several experts predict significant growth for Bitcoin, reaching $1 million by 2025 is not commonly forecast among them. Most predictions for such high prices are set for later years or based on speculative scenarios like government buy-ins.Institutional investment, Bitcoin's limited supply, hedging against inflation, economic policies, increased liquidity, and shifting away from U.S. assets are some of the factors driving these predictions. However, it's important to note that not all experts predict $1 million by 2025.

Bitcoin's price could be influenced by institutional investment, limited supply, and hedging against inflation, potentially reaching $1 million or more in the future, as suggested by some technology-focused finance experts like Cameron Winklevoss, Arthur Hayes, Robert Kiyosaki, and Geoffrey Kendrick. However, predictions of such high prices by 2025 are not universally held among all financial analysts.
