Power List Reveals Top 50 Influential Figures in the ASI Sector

The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) has recently unveiled the names of the most influential business leaders in the industry, as ranked in the prestigious Counselor Power 50 list. This coveted list, which sets the industry gold standard, recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a paramount concern for the customer, ensuring their happiness for the mutual benefit of all parties.

The sixth annual ASI Power Summit, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida, was the venue for this year's recognition. The exclusive event, attended by more than 250 executives and business leaders from around the globe, provided a platform for discussing vital issues, identifying best practices, and determining ways in which the ad specialty industry can productively move forward.

Marty Lott, the founder and president of SanMar (asi/84863), has captured the No. 1 spot on the 2012 Power 50 list. Lott's leadership at SanMar has been instrumental in the company's success, earning him the top spot on this prestigious list.

Greg Muzzillo and Vera Muzzillo from Proforma (asi/300094), Rich Witaszak from Staples Promotional Products (asi/120600), Marc Simon from Halo Branded Solutions (asi/356000), Gene Geiger and Jo-an Lantz from Geiger (asi/202900), and David Woods from AIA Corporation (asi/109480) are among the top-ranked executives on the 2012 Power 50 list. Their contributions to their respective companies have been recognized as significant and influential within the industry.

Polyconcept is represented by Michael Bernstein and David Nicholson in the top-ranked executives of the 2012 Power 50 list. Eric Bensussen and Jay Deutsch from BDA (asi/137616) are also included in the list, demonstrating the broad representation of the ad specialty market.

Five newcomers have hit the Power 50 list this year. Dale Adams from Omnicom DAS, Emmanuel Bruno from Norwood & BIC Graphic North America, Sharon, Taly and Ely Eyal from ETS Express, Joe Fleming from Hub Pen, and Alan Chippindale from BrandAlliance have all earned their places on the list through their impressive achievements and contributions to the industry.

The rankings for the Power 50 list are based on a survey conducted by the award-winning Counselor magazine, which considers the industry's perception of whether each person has gained or lost influence over the past year, as well as nominations for new candidates.

Distributors and suppliers can learn more about members of the 2012 Power 50 in the December issue of Counselor. The Power 50 list is considered a coveted list that requires a distinct combination of power, influence, and winning agendas to earn a spot.
