Busting up "Отказному": The Historical Building in Omsk's Hottest Real Estate Game
Ready for some exciting news? The "Отказному" building located in the heart of Omsk is looking for a new owner!
The regional government's corporation, "DOM.RF", spilled the beans about their plans for this historic structure, situated at Bros Titov, 5a. As of Monday, May 5, 2025, the wooden, two-story iconic building, neighboring the hotel "Ibis" in the city's historical center, is set to be privatized.
According to the corporation, an entire lot will be under consideration, including the property – an object of cultural heritage known as "The 1925-1927 Residential Building" – and the land parcel with cadastral number 55:36:090101:5267 approximately 0.04 hectares in size. The planned auction is set for the last quarter of 2025, though the "approximated" market value of this federal property isn't set yet.
In case you haven't been following, a court decided two years ago, in late April 2023, to return the property – both the land and the historic building – to the federal treasury, which had handed them over to law enforcement for operational control.
Previously, the building had housed the Department of Administrative Law Enforcement Under the Office of the Organized Public Order and Liaison with Executives and Local Government, but it saw action two years ago when the police vacated the premises. The first auction for leasing the property was held in February 2024, with the starting bid reaching 1.79 million rubles.
