Pipeline construction ongoing at Edelweißstraße street site
In the coming weeks, there will be changes to bus line 3 in the area surrounding Tulpenstraße, due to ongoing construction. Here's what you need to know.
For those travelling in the direction of Wolfgangsiedlung, the bus line's route will be altered to run via Edelweißstraße, Eichenstraße, Asternweg, and Tulpenstraße. The Tulpenstraße stop will remain the final destination for this direction. Pedestrians can pass at any time during the construction, but motorists are asked to observe the closure and detour signs.
In the opposite direction, towards Auloh, the bus line will depart from the Tulpenstraße stop, travel via the Erlenstraße stop, then Enzianstraße, Asternweg, Eichenstraße, and stop at a substitute stop on Weidenweg - Flurstraße before continuing unchanged. The substitute stop for the bus line in the direction of Auloh will be located on Weidenweg - Flurstraße.
Unfortunately, during this period, the Edelweißstraße, Eichenstraße, and Weidenweg stops in the direction of Auloh, as well as the Erlenstraße stop in the direction of Wolfgangsiedlung, will not be served. Traffic will be rerouted via Enzianstraße - Asternweg - Eichenstraße.
It's important to note that the party responsible for carrying out construction work affecting traffic conditions on the specified road section is typically the construction contractor or company commissioned for the project, coordinated and overseen by the relevant road authority or agency, such as the Autobahn GmbH for federal highways or the Fernstraßen-Bundesamt for federal roads. They ensure compliance with traffic safety regulations and manage traffic impacts during construction.
In both directions, the bus line will continue unchanged after the substitute stop. We advise passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and to check the latest updates on the bus line's website or mobile app for any further changes or delays.
