Pieces of Omsk's broadcasting network property aim to be dismantled.
On Monday, August 23, 2021, the demolition of three structures owned by RTRS (Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network) commenced in the Tyukalinsky District (Tюкалинский район) of the Omsk region. The contractor is entitled to over 1.6 million rubles for the work on the aforementioned structures in the Tюкалинский район's Tukalin district, which includes the dismantling of buildings and structures. The funds must be allocated to the demolition of the structures, according to the tender documents. The contractor has until November 20, 2021, to complete the work.
The structures are located 5 kilometers west of the village of Bekishevo and 3 kilometers southwest of the village of Orlovo-Kukushkino in the same district.
According to documentation prepared for the tender, the structures were built nearly 40 years ago - in 1982 - to "ensure the operation of the RTSS Bekishevo's television and radio network." However, the contract is not for a "one-time" demolition, but rather for a "piecemeal dismantling of all building structures with the preservation of usable materials." Additionally, the contract price includes waste removal, transportation, and even the preparation of soil for flower beds, planting flower beds, Mauritanian grass, and regular grass.
Regarding the second structure on Mir Street in 3 kilometers southwest of the village of Orlovo-Kukushkino, it is noted that this is also a "technical building" with additional radiation shelters, making it the third structure in the overall lot.
According to the tender documentation, the building was rendered unusable due to the absence of heating. Among the issues plaguing the building, now slated for demolition, are the absence of windows in part, the decay of the building "around the perimeter" and near window openings, and numerous "local leaks" through the ceilings. In addition, the contractor was notified about unsuitable floors in the building due to "multiple deformations and sinkholes," as well as rotting wooden planks in humid conditions. The building's roof also has unplanned openings, decaying wood, and numerous other issues.
Nevertheless, the building's condition was described as "limited operational."
The dimensions and details of the work on the buildings in Bekishevo and Orlovo-Kukushkino, Tyukalinsky District, are identical.
It's worth noting that during the preparation phase, destruction methods such as explosion and complete dismantling were rejected.
The contractor is given no more than 90 days for the project's completion.
