Personnel adjustments within DHL Group's Executive Team
In a planned succession following the retirement of Tim Scharwath, the outgoing CEO of DHL Global Forwarding, Freight, the Management Board of DHL Group has announced significant leadership changes, effective August 16, 2025.
Oscar de Bok, currently the CEO of DHL Supply Chain and a Management Board member since 2019, has been appointed as the new CEO of DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. De Bok, who has over two decades of experience across multiple regions, has successfully expanded DHL Supply Chain's footprint and led strategic transformations. To fill the role vacated by de Bok at DHL Supply Chain, Hendrik Venter, who has been leading Supply Chain operations in Mainland Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, has been appointed as the new CEO of DHL Supply Chain and made a member of the Management Board. Venter, with over 15 years of experience in leadership positions at DHL Supply Chain, has a strong track record in leading DHL Supply Chain businesses across various markets, aligning with DHL's focus on leadership development and succession planning.
