In a significant move, the State Duma has proposed paying the 13th pension to eligible pensioners across Russia. This announcement comes as good news for the residents of the Zabaykalsky Krai region, where the Social Fund of Russia's branch has been actively distributing pension payouts.

As per the eligibility criteria, women aged 55 and men aged 60 who have a minimum pensionable service of 15 years and 30 pension coefficients are eligible for these funds.

According to the regional Social Fund press service, a total of 2598 individuals received some form of pension payout from the Zabaykalsky Krai branch in January 2025. The pensions were distributed in three different forms to accommodate varying needs or circumstances of the pensioners.

Specifically, 2570 residents received a lump sum payment, 10 received a temporary pension payment, and 18 received a pension annuity. Notably, the reasons for the multiple forms of payment are not detailed in the available information.

The prosecutor's office has also been active in restoring the pension rights of a Zabaykalsk resident, further emphasising the commitment towards ensuring pensioners receive their due benefits.

The pension payouts were awarded to residents of the Zabaykalsky Krai region in Russia, marking a significant step towards securing the financial well-being of its elderly population. The Social Fund of Russia's Zabaykalsky Krai branch is responsible for distributing these pension payouts to eligible residents.

This move is expected to provide a much-needed boost to the financial security of many pensioners in the region, offering them a sense of stability and peace of mind.
