Oil Workers from Uhty and Yaregi have pinpointed top advantages
In a recent showcase of talent and expertise, LUKOIL's Traditional Professional Skills Competition (TPSC) has once again proven to be a platform for recognising the best in the industry. The competition, which unites several generations of experts in their field, took place across various production sites, including the NSPP "Yareganeft" and TPU "Uhtaneftegaz".
At the NSPP "Yareganeft", Andrey Kuznetsov triumphed in the category "Electro-gas welder", while Roman Kuznetsov and Kazimir Damulevich claimed victory in the category "Bolt Crew". Sergey Tyapkin was awarded in the category "Product Operator". In the same competition, Marat Farrakhov excelled as the best "Welder", and Arthur Safiullin clinched the unique title of "Oil and Gas Production Operator (Underground)".
Meanwhile, at TPU "Uhtaneftegaz", the competition saw 71 representatives from nine different working specialties participate. The team of workers from the No.1 Oil and Gas Production Shop won in the category "Non-Standard Emergency Rescue Team". Ivan Kutyukov and Eugene Semenko took home the prize in the category "Team of Repair Fitters". Svetlana Bakulina was crowned the "Operator of Control Panel in Oil and Gas Production", and Kirill Smetanin was victorious in the category "Technological Pump Operator".
The competitions, which consist of two stages—a theoretical exam and practical tasks—allowed participants to enhance their professional skills and advance to a new level of development in their work. Vladislav Kudelein, the machine operator of technological pumps of CDNG-4, has been leading in his category for the fourth year in a row. Other multiple winners include Mikhail Mukhin in the category "Compressor Unit Operator" and Eugene Plotnikov in the category "Oil and Gas Production Operator".
Yuriy Galashov won in the category "Technological Unit Operator" in the NSPP "Yareganeft", and Igor Abramenkov triumphed as the "Dehydration and Desalination Unit Operator". The "Best in Profession" competition is a tradition in two subdivisions of LUKOIL, with several participants in the TPU "Uhtaneftegaz" competition also being repeat winners.
The competent jury evaluates the speed and accuracy of task completion, adherence to labour safety and industrial safety norms. All winners will receive a one-time cash prize and a monthly salary supplement as a reward for their dedication and exceptional skills.
These competitions not only showcase the outstanding talent within LUKOIL but also provide a valuable opportunity for professionals to share their experiences and learn from each other. The NSPP "Yareganeft" is the only production in Russia where oil is extracted by the shaft method, making it a unique setting for these skilled individuals to demonstrate their mastery of their specialties.
For those seeking detailed and up-to-date information about this event, it is recommended to consult official LUKOIL communications or press releases, as they typically publish competition results and highlight winners in specific professional categories.
