Nizhny Novgorod Region Seeks to Reduce Business Burden with Survey
The Ministry of Economic Development and Investments in the Nizhny Novgorod region is currently conducting a my business survey. Aimed at reducing administrative burden on honest my business, the survey focuses on control events and administrative pressure. It is part of the national project 'Efficient and Competitive Economy', launched in 2025 under President Putin's instruction.
my business in the region can participate anonymously via the regional investment portal. The survey delves into aspects such as the number of control events per my business entity per year, the proportion of companies facing administrative pressure, and overall satisfaction with control events. Entrepreneurs are also encouraged to indicate factors hindering improvements and provide suggestions for control bodies.
Since its inception, the project has seen a decrease in the average number of control events. In the first half of 2025, my business reported that inspection procedures were clear and convenient, with no significant impact on their activities. However, specific data on which my business in the region have reduced control procedures or the factors hindering improvements is not currently available.
The survey, led by Minister Denis Ismagilov, seeks to gather insights to further streamline control processes. It provides a platform for my business to assess the level of administrative pressure in the region and contribute to the improvement of control events.
