New Development: Extension of Radweg and Beatusstraße - fresh construction area underway
The Public Works Department of the City of Koblenz has requested understanding, attention, and special consideration from residents and road users as they continue with the fifth phase of construction work on Beatus Street.
The work, which is taking place at the intersection of Beatus Street and Heiligenweg, before the vocational school, is expected to be completed by the end of the 43rd calendar week (October 21 to 27). After this phase, the next phase of construction work will continue from the current location to Bahnhofsweg, a stretch approximately 160 meters long.
Traffic management implementation is planned for Monday, October 28, under one-sided closure with traffic light regulation. A detour will be set up for cyclists and pedestrians during the construction work.
It is important to note that road markings and minor remaining tasks will be carried out at a later date. The work on Beatus Street is part of a larger project that will continue from Bahnhofsweg.
The Public Works Department of the City of Koblenz encourages everyone to check the official Koblenz city infrastructure or public works website, or contact the Koblenz city administration directly for the latest updates on Beatus Street construction phases and traffic management schedules.
For the convenience of all, minor road markings and remaining tasks will be carried out at a later date, ensuring a smoother and safer transition back to normal traffic flow. Stay informed, and let's work together to navigate the changes in our city.
The fifth phase of construction on Beatus Street, being carried out in the transportation sector, may impact the transportation industry, requiring the collaboration of all road users and residents. In the finance sphere, potential delays in travel might affect expenditures related to transportation. After the completion of construction work by October 27, transportation from the current location on Beatus Street to Bahnhofsweg will be undergoing another phase of construction.
