Authors requested more formats for royalty imports, and we listened! Here's how to do it.

1. Kobo Writing Life and Draft2Digital Reports

  • In addition to Amazon sales reports, you can easily import your KWL and D2D sales reports for convenient royalty splitting.
  • Follow these steps to download and import:
    1. Download your detailed invoice data from Kobo Writing Life.
    2. From D2D, export your sales data for the month you wish to import. You'll need to download the report month-by-month.
  • Import data to Abacus:
    1. Log in to our website: https://account.our website/login
    2. Find Abacus in the right corner under the Apps button.
    3. Go to Upload Data and drop your downloaded CSV file to Abacus.
    4. Select the titles you wish to import.
    5. Provide your contributors' data.
    6. Review the data.
    7. Finish Import

2. IngramSpark Print Royalty Reports

Import sales data from IngramSpark by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to your IngramSpark account.
  2. View your reports by navigating to Menu > Reports
  3. Choose Print Sales and download the XLS files for each month and year you wish to import to Abacus.
  4. Log in to your our website account.
  5. Navigate to Abacus.
  6. Click the Upload Data button and repeat the process for every XLS file received from IngramSpark.
