Munich Police Authority Headquarters' Undertaking: Munich Security Conference Safety Measures
The 61st Munich Security Conference is set to take place from February 14 to 16, 2025, and the Federal Police are gearing up for a smooth and secure event. Senior Police Director Steffen Quaas will lead the Federal Police operations, ensuring the smooth arrival and departure of all travelers, particularly conference participants.
The Federal Police Inspectorate Munich, responsible for policing and criminal investigations in the Deutsche Bahn facilities and the largest German S-Bahn network, has its station nestled within Munich Central Station, right next to track 26. During peak times, approximately 250 officers from the Federal Police will be deployed, with personnel support provided by Federal Police departments in Deggendorf and Bayreuth, as well as several Bavarian inspections. The main focus of the Federal Police deployment will be on the main, east, and Pasing stations, as well as certain S-Bahn stops and the S-Bahn trunk line.

On Saturday during peak times, service dog handlers and super-recognizers will join the 250 Federal Police officers on duty. The goal is to protect the railway and its users from dangers and to intervene decisively when necessary, especially in cases of criminal offenses and disturbances of public order.
