Moscow Ring Road Toll Hikes Again, Affecting Peak Hour Drivers
Starting October 13, 2025, driving on the Moscow Ring Road (MRR) during peak hours will cost more. This is the second toll increase this year, following a June 2025 hike. The city's transport department aims to manage traffic flow during busy hours with this change.
The new toll rate for a single section will be 10 rubles, up from 7 rubles. This increase applies on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. However, users driving on weekends, holidays, or outside of peak hours will not be affected. The transit toll for the MRR remains unchanged at 950 rubles.
In Tyumen, public transport prices have also increased. The cashless fare is now 35 rubles, and cash payments cost 40 rubles. Another public transport price increase of two rubles is expected in early 2026.
The new toll rates for driving on the MRR during peak hours will come into effect on October 13, 2025. The city aims to manage traffic flow during busy hours with this increase. Meanwhile, public transport users in Tyumen should prepare for further price increases in the coming year.
