Moncler & Pharrell Williams Unveil Glamping-Inspired Capsule Collection
Moncler is set to release a new capsule collection in collaboration with musician and LVMH menswear designer Pharrell Williams. The collection, inspired by glamping, will feature multifunctional pieces and customization options. It's the latest venture from the luxury outdoor clothing brand, which has seen a 24% increase in H1 revenues to 1.14 billion euros (approximately $1.22 billion) in 2023.
The collection will debut at an exclusive installation in Milan on Sept. 21, a day before its general release. It includes innovative items like trousers that convert to shorts, a duvet blanket cape, and a convertible jacket with zip-off sleeves. Customization is key, with removable pockets, attachable keyrings, and detachable logo patches. The collection will be available in select Moncler boutiques and online from Sept. 22.
This collaboration marks the latest in a long-standing partnership between Moncler and Pharrell Williams, which began in 2009 with outerwear being a staple. Moncler previously launched a capsule with Billionaire Boys Club, co-owned by Williams, in August.
